Our Love Story

George and Elisa first met on 02.02.2019, on a sunny summer Saturday afternoon while both swimming at Port Melbourne Beach. 

By chance (or fate) while having a swim in the bay on a very hot day, they crossed paths & struck up a conversation - and now the rest is history! 

George proposed at sunset on the beach in early 2021 - keeping in theme with their favourite setting, by the seaside.

It was a YES from Elisa! (plus a few tears of happiness!)

 We have chosen to celebrate our wedding day in Melbourne and begin our journey in the area we call home; the place where we are going to build our life together in Port Melbourne. George's Parents were also married at Saint Eustathios Greek Orthodox Church in South Melbourne. 

The Port Melbourne Yacht Club is also a special spot as it looks over the beach where we first met, and it is 300m from our home on Nott Street, quite literally our backyard.

Together we have both survived the world's longest lockdown in Melbourne - an unbelievable record totalling 263 days, 

plus just one wedding day postponement!

So finally!!! Let's celebrate like we just got out of lockdown!
